Terrazzo Color in Context Bar
Science has shown how the brain perceives the same foreground colors differently with different background colors. Artists and decorators use this phenomenon when trying to get variety in appearances without adding to a project's color palette and cost.
An example of this is the new terrazzo sample available from Scoons Contract Services called the Color in Context Terrazzo Model. This four-panel sample uses the identical blend and size of marble, mother of pearl, and glass in each panel. Only the color of the epoxy resin is changed. It is your eye and brain interpreting which colors to highlight and which ones to soften.
This design can be utilized in accents and borders to complement the main design. Using this technique of a single continuous aggregate blend in different matrix colors, helps to lower material and installation costs while offering expanded color choices.
